Determinedly na?ve. Some established motifs of island surviving are only touched upon. The grand villa seems a much simpler project than a raft. Their encounter with the aboriginal people remains a nonviolent witnessing of otherness. Nothing but bantering conflicts concern our couple. But now I value this lovely escapism from a sophisticated world.
